U.S. News & World Report honored the RX with its “2014 Best Cars for Families” awards. The awards recognize vehicles that make family life on the road easier.

The RX 350 was named Best 2-Row Luxury SUV, while the RX 450h was appointed Best 2-Row Hybrid SUV.

Standard features for all 2015 RX models that parents can appreciate include 40 cubic feet of cargo space, a 12-speaker Display Audio system with backup camera, and 60/40 split rear seats that slide and recline. Also standard are 10 airbags: roll sensing side curtain airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, rear side airbags and knee airbags for the driver and front passenger.

Parents looking for a sportier luxury utility vehicle will enjoy the RX 350 AWD F SPORT. This model has an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, F SPORT tuned suspension with front and rear performance dampers, 19-inch wheels and unique exterior and interior features.

Regardless of which RX they ride in, kids of all ages will enjoy the interior roominess and available Dual-Screen Rear Seat Entertainment system that includes a 120V AC outlet for rear passengers, audio/video inputs, dual wireless headphones and a DVD player with wireless remote control.

Both the RX 350 and RX 450h are available in front and all-weather drive models.
