As 2025 comes to a close, Lexus has much to celebrate.

The past year marked significant progress for the brand — from accelerating its electrification journey to expanding meaningful lifestyle partnerships. It’s been a remarkable year, and the momentum is only growing as Lexus looks ahead to 2026.

Take a look back at the stories and milestones that made 2025 one to remember.

An Electrifying Year
Lexus showcased another proof point of its commitment to electrification with the all-new 2026 ES, which is now offered as a hybrid and, for the first time ever, as a battery-electric vehicle (BEV). The eight-generation ES has been fully redesigned and draws inspiration from the next-generation BEV concept, LF-ZC, marking a bold evolution in Lexus design language that begins with the new ES.

Additionally, the 2026 Lexus RZ was thoroughly enhanced for model year 2026. The 2026 RZ features a redesigned battery electric system, delivering increased motor output, having an EPA-estimated extended driving range rating, and reduced charging times under ideal conditions. In addition, it debuts a new addition to the lineup—the RZ 550e F SPORT AWD, which is equipped with higher-output front and rear motors, achieving a more powerful and exhilarating driving experience.

As its BEV lineup grows, Lexus continues to roll out initiatives to benefit Lexus BEV owners such as a vastly expanded network of DC fast chargers, new Plug & Charge capability, support for Apple Maps EV Routing via Apple CarPlay®, and complimentary charging adapters for the 2023-2025 Lexus RZ models.

For the 2026 model year on the Lexus LX, the F SPORT Appearance Package is now offered exclusively on the LX 700h F SPORT Handling model. As it helps usher in a new era for the lineup, here are five things to know about the first-ever LX 700h.

Together with the electrified NX, RX, TX and UX models , Lexus is reinforcing its mission to broaden the adoption of electrified vehicles — from hybrids and plug-in hybrids to all-electric options. In turn, Lexus gives guests options to drive luxury vehicles that fit their lifestyle.

Flagship Special Editions and a Refreshed IS
For 2026, the Lexus flagship lineup debuted several special edition grades. The Lexus LC coupe and convertible will each offer a stunning Inspiration Series for 2026, limited to 200 and 350 units for North America, respectively. And as a tribute to the sedan that launched the Lexus brand, the 2026 Lexus LS AWD Heritage Edition will see 250 units for the U.S., distinguished by a Lexus-first Ninety Noir exterior and an LS-first Rioja Red interior.

In terms of performance, the 2026 Lexus IS 350 got a major glow-up. Its refreshed and refined look inside and out even turned heads at its first public appearance, when it was displayed at the Motul Petit Le Mans IMSA race back in October.

Mutual Respect for Excellence
Lexus has built a reputation for aligning with excellence. This year was no exception as the brand continued to collaborate with leaders across industries, from its Culinary Masters to its expanded multi-year partnership with the World Surf League (WSL). In 2025, Lexus spotlighted a sommelier, several chefs and a surf ambassador — each representing the pinnacle of their craft. Here’s a closer look at five of their inspiring stories:

Lexus Culinary Master Carlton McCoy

Learning To Do a Napa Weekend Right, With Lexus Culinary Master Carlton McCoy
At a dinner in Montalcino, in the heart of Italy’s prestigious Tuscany region, Carlton McCoy learned for the first time that a locally made wine isn’t necessarily a drink. It’s an ingredient when it’s paired with the signature dishes of the same region — they work together seamlessly. “It was like I connected the dots that night,” he recalls. “That the style of wines is selected and engineered to be part of this meal.”

Lexus Culinary Master Stephanie Izard

Lexus Culinary Master Stephanie Izard: On the Radical Act of Joy
For Lexus Culinary Master Stephanie Izard, James Beard Award winner and “Top Chef” champion, “joy” isn’t an afterthought or a garnish; it’s the main ingredient. “Food is just beautiful,” she says. “When you start with the best ingredients, it goes beyond looks. You find yourself asking: How does it taste? How does it feel? Does it make you smile?”

Lexus Culinary Masters Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo

Lexus Culinary Masters Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo Go Together Like Olive Oil and Soy Sauce

The debut of Lexus Culinary Masters Jon & Vinny’s in 2015 was a turning point in their culinary journey. It was both a namesake and a home base: a place where Italian American comfort food met California produce and where fluffy pancakes cozied up to savory pies. “We always wanted to contribute to the greater food scene,” Vinny Dotolo says. “It’s fun, exciting, challenging. But the goal has always been to get better.”

Lexus Culinary Master Shota Nakajima

Lexus Culinary Master Shota Nakajima and the Subtle Art of Storytelling
For chef Shota Nakajima — Lexus Culinary Master, “Top Chef” finalist and James Beard Award semifinalist — comfort food holds a special meaning. “Comfort food to me means something that is satisfying in all regards. I think about staff meal a lot of times, because that’s the food people cook that they want to eat. For me, it’s rice, carbs, everyone sitting around together. Food isn’t just flavor or sustenance — it’s the environment you eat it in.”

Lexus Surf Ambassador Griffin Colapinto

Griffin Colapinto is Building a Legacy Beyond the Podium
When asked what he hopes to leave behind, Griffin Colapinto doesn’t talk about stats or records. “Legacy, for me, is about being a good person,” he says. “Not reacting to negativity. Staying true. Putting out positivity. That’s what I want people to remember.”

Additionally, Lexus has teamed up with some popular movie franchises and clothing brands that are also synonymous with excellence. Here are several press releases that showcase these notable collaborations:

Keeping the Wheels Turning
Few things match the adrenaline rush of motorsports. The sound, the speed and the strategy make the sport an exhilarating experience. The Lexus Vasser Sullivan team brought all of it to life in 2025 with a standout season that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Lexus Racing drivers Jack Hawksworth, Parker Thompson and Frankie Montecalvo earned a third-place podium results back in October at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. The result marked the fifth time in the last six years that Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have finished on the podium at the 12-turn, 2.54-mile Georgia road course.

It was a season defined by grit, precision and pure racing excitement.

In celebration of a successful year, here are a few Lexus Racing driving profile features that deserve another spotlight:

Lexus Driver Jack Hawksworth

Jack Hawksworth Stays in His Lane and Learns From the Best

For Jack Hawksworth, the secret to achieving his racing goals lies in a focused strategy: keeping his eyes forward, staying in his lane and never letting off the gas. “I think the biggest thing for me is, in racing there are so many moving parts, and just to try and control the things you can control and not worry about the things you can’t,” he says. “You have to stay focused on the present and the step-by-step, trying to be in the moment and execute.”

Lexus Driver Ben Barnicoat

Lexus Racer Ben Barnicoat Reflects on the Inspiration Behind His Success and What Drives Him Toward the Finish Line

While victory is always the ultimate goal, Ben Barnicoat’s commitment to it remains unwavering, regardless of the race outcome. “When you are having a bad day, it’s so easy to throw in the towel and think, ‘Well, I’ll get it next time,’ but you really don’t know what’s around the corner, and you have to live every day like it’s your last, so you never give up,” he says.

Lexus Driver Aaron Telitz

Lexus Driver Aaron Telitz on Embracing Setbacks and Why Prioritizing Fun Fuels Him

Aaron Telitz believes that embracing setbacks is the best way to move forward. “In life in general, you’ll get told no a lot, and in racing it’s no different,” he says. “I’ve had moments in racing, whether it’s a sponsor who has told me no or a race team that has said no — you use it as fuel.”

Lexus Driver Parker Thompson

How Lexus Driver Parker Thompson Lets Go to Push Forward
Although many races stand out in his career, Thompson isn’t driven by one defining moment. Rather, he lives by a particular outlook that applies equally to his life on and off the track. “I’ve come to realize in life there are things you can control and others you cannot control,” he says. “And if you worry about the things you can’t control, you forget about those you can control; so that’s something I try to take with me not only in racing, but in life. The only way you’re going to perform is letting go of the variables that happen that are out of your control.”

From innovative vehicles to inspiring partnerships, 2025 was a year to remember — and if it’s any indication, Lexus is on the path to continue to redefine what modern luxury feels, looks and drives like.
